Meet the Fisk

When Gig Harbor BoatShop discovered the 1925 motor launch #706, built in Olympia, had spent decades in the woods, left to the elements and nearly beyond repair, a project was born. Volunteers and program participants restored #706 to her original beauty over the course of two years, then powered her with a quiet and efficient electric motor. #706 was re-launched as A.R. Fisk in 2013. The Fisk’s gracious layout with two benches that face each other and a table between (bring a picnic!) and ease of use make her an excellent choice for families or friends looking to enjoy the Harbor.
