Working to Preserve Gig Harbors Historic Working Waterfront this non-profit boatyard located in historic Gig Harbor, Washington is the birthplace of the Thunderbird sailboat.

GHB Board & Staff

Gig Harbor BoatShop Board and management team have a diverse skill set including non-profit organization management, small and large business owner/operations, for-profit small boatyard employment and management, commercial fishing experience, and marketing and graphic design expertise.  GHB Board Members work with national and state heritage organizations, local PARTNERS and boatbuilding advocates, and many have family or personal connections to the boatyard's history.  All are dedicated to its success.
