Chris Craft "Vintage 66" Sea Skiff - $7,500

This spacious 25-ft boat (for sale as is) is in good shape and has been kept under cover by all previous owners.

The engine (professionally maintained with regular annual tune-ups), is a Chevy 350 V8, seawater cooled, with a freshwater flush system. Engine is very clean. No oil or fluid leaks. Bilge clean and dry.
Exhaust is wet type. Manifolds & risers (cast iron) replaced in May 2017 along with a full servicing of engine. Hoses new. Solid state ignition. Water pump impeller replaced every other year. Rebuilt transmission oil cooler and hoses. Blue Sea Systems ATC blade-type fuse panels.

Gas tank is 60 gal capacity, located across the transom behind the rear seat and appears to be original steel tank. Fuel consumption is estimated at 5-7 gph.

Hull is lap strake wood plank. Planks are plywood below the water line and mahogany above.
Prop is left-handed with 4 blades. Packing gland is a dripless rubber shaft seal. Planing performance is smooth with no vibrations at speed. Cruising is about 3K RPM.

The boat is equipped with many extras including stainless steel 30A shore power receptacle, AC circuit breaker panel and outlets, radio, compass, JVC iPod-compatible stereo, dual batteries and battery monitoring voltage meter, ProMariner automatic battery charger, several life jackets, two fire extinguishers, several fenders, dock lines, two 50' spare lines, anchor, self-contained porta-potty just aft of V bunks, canopy cover, additional boat cover, swim step at stern and mount for auxiliary motor, and Raymarine i40 instrument with professionally installed S/D/T/ thru-hull transducer.

Hour meter was not reset when the engine was replaced in the 1970s
therefore hours on re-powered engine are unknown.  No trailer - but we
have means to lift the boat onto your trailer at no extra charge.

It is important that this craft go to someone who will be a good steward of this well-maintained boat. All proceeds from the sale go to the Gig Harbor BoatShop - a non-profit tasked with teaching boat-building skills to the community and helping to preserve the traditional working waterfront in Gig Harbor.
